Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.32%
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.32 per cent down at 1122.7.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Thursday.
Shares of Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 1.15 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 0.64 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.46 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(up 0.14 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 2.85 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 2.27 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.81 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.56 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.32 per cent down at 1122.7.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 187.85 points at 24800.85, while the BSE Sensex stood up 626.91 points at 81343.46.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 ended in the green, while 15 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Teleservices, YES Bank, IRFC and Indian Renewable were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of MTNL, Krebs Biochem, Just Dial, Umang Dairies and Manomay Tex India hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sah Polymers, IRIS Clothings, Akme Fintrade(India, Landmark Cars and Praxis Home Retail hit their fresh 52-week lows.
