Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.27% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:25AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.
SOBHA(up 2.82 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.33 per cent) and Sunteck Realty(up 0.12 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Brigade Enterprises(down 0.82 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.55 per cent), DLF(down 0.48 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 0.4 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 0.26 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was down 0.27 per cent at 429.4 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 16.9 points at 18124.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 58.77 points at 60917.2.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, PNB, Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd. and Vodafone Idea were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Hisar Metal Ind, Arihant Academy Ltd., Sterling Tools, Engineers India and Jindal Stainles hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Kiri Industries, Relaxo Footwear, Sintex Inds., Gayatri Project and Indus Towers hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
