Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.24%
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.24 per cent down at 532.45.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Wednesday.
Shares of Mindspace Business Park REIT(up 2.65 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.43 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.92 per cent), EMBASSY(up 0.73 per cent) and Brookfield India Real Estate Trust(up 0.62 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects(down 2.7 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.3 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.85 per cent) and DLF(down 0.35 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.24 per cent down at 532.45.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 169.8 points at 18161.75, while the BSE Sensex stood up 452.74 points at 60737.05.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 ended in the green, while 13 closed in the red.
Shares of Tata Power, BHEL, Tata Motors, Vodafone Idea and IDBI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., Destiny Logistics & Infra Ltd., Tata Motors, NRB Industrial and Arvind Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Pasupati Acrylon, Nandani Creation, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd., Inventure Grwth and Coastal Corp hit their fresh 52-week lows.
