Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.24% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:19AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 2.68 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.34 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.3 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.18 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.1 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Godrej Properties(down 2.05 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.83 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.23 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 0.24 per cent at 538.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 66.3 points at 19630.8, while the BSE Sensex was up 241.18 points at 66302.08.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

Shares of Suzlon Energy, YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Zee Ent. and Bandhan Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of DCM Shriram Ind, Airan Ltd., Precision Camshaft, Agarwal Corp and Modison Metals hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Setubandhan Infra, Melstar Info, Ankit Metal Pwr, Synoptics Technologi and Penta Gold hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
