Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.18%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Thursday.
Shares of Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 0.79 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 0.3 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 0.03 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 1.5 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd.(down 1.1 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.88 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.18 per cent down at 610.2.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 17.35 points at 19794.0, while the BSE Sensex stood down 64.66 points at 66408.39.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 ended in the green, while 20 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, IFCI, MMTC, Zomato and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Sical Logistics, MMTC, Cupid Ltd, Mukta Arts and Plastiblend Ind hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Shree Ram Proteins, Baid Leasing, Accuracy Shipping, Rajesh Exports and Winsome Yarns hit their fresh 52-week lows.
