Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.09% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:27AM(IST)on Friday in a weak market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.75 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.94 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.18 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Brigade Enterprises(down 0.76 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.64 per cent), Sunteck Realty(down 0.51 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 0.42 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.21 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 0.09 per cent at 408.9 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 23.1 points at 17870.35, while the BSE Sensex was down 64.29 points at 60741.93.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 22 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato Ltd., YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, PayTM and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Geekay Wires, Mold Tek Tech, Narmada Agrobase, SKM Egg Prod and BF Investment hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Mangalam Global Ent, Megasoft, Lux Ind., Adani Transmission and Adani Gas hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
