Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.08% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:11AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.

Godrej Properties(up 0.47 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.46 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.08 per cent) and DLF(up 0.05 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 0.75 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 0.66 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.38 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.3 per cent) and Sunteck Realty(down 0.29 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 0.08 per cent at 424.8 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 14.95 points at 17899.2, while the BSE Sensex was down 18.68 points at 60096.8.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, IOB, Vodafone Idea, PNB and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Generic Engg, Indiabulls Enterprises Ltd., Ponni Sugars, 3P Land Holdings and Sky Gold hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Jyoti Structure, Goenka Diamond, All E Technologies Ltd., Parenteral Drug and Nureca Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
