Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.07%

The Nifty Realty index closed 0.07 per cent down at 472.1.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a negative note on Tuesday.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.07 per cent), DLF(up 0.77 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.24 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.09 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.

On the other hand, SOBHA(down 2.32 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.19 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 1.0 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 0.81 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.76 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.


The Nifty Realty index closed 0.07 per cent down at 472.1.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 112.35 points at 18286.5, while the BSE Sensex stood down 413.24 points at 61932.47.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 ended in the green, while 31 closed in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zomato, Trident Ltd and Indian Railway Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Vesuvius India, Sotac Pharmaceutical, Repro India, Aaron Industries and KPI Global Infra hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Uma Converter, Accuracy Shipping, Jakharia Fabric, Cineline India and Rajnandini Metal hit their fresh 52-week lows.
