Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.07% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:14AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.31 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.9 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.27 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Oberoi Realty(down 1.53 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.91 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.31 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was down 0.07 per cent at 509.25 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 28.5 points at 18284.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 66.35 points at 61289.38.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.

Shares of JP Power, Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, HFCL and Alok Industries were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of InfoBeans Tech, Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., Khaitan Chem, Metro Brands Ltd. and Precision Wires hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Asian Hotels(W)hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
