Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 2.75% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:05AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Godrej Properties(up 7.1 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 4.06 per cent), SOBHA(up 3.76 per cent), DLF(up 3.15 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 2.72 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 1.19 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 2.75 per cent at 415.1 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 29.65 points at 17628.8, while the BSE Sensex was up 52.93 points at 59885.9.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 0 were trading in the green, while 0 were in the red.

Shares of Tata Motors, YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Zomato Ltd. and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Asian Hotels, Aki India, Tara Chand Logistic, Srivasavi Adhesive Tapes Ltd. and DRS Dilip Roadlines hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vikas Proppant & Gr, Nirman Agri Genetics, Seya Industries, Goldstar Power and Mohota Industries hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
