Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 2.57% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:10AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 6.29 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 5.11 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 4.52 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 3.15 per cent) and DLF(up 2.88 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 2.15 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 2.57 per cent at 464.3 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 272.55 points at 16886.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 915.35 points at 56737.36.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 47 were trading in the green, while 3 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank, Trident Ltd and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of C.E. Info Systems Ltd., MTNL, STL Global, IMP Powers Ltd and Manaksia Coated hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while HEC Infra Projects, Vikas Multicorp(PP), Balaxi Pharma, CarTrade Tech and Kriti Ind hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
