Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 2.37%
The Nifty Realty index closed 2.37 per cent up at 474.55.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Friday.
Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate(up 10.45 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 4.86 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 4.82 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 2.27 per cent) and DLF(up 1.45 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills(down 2.37 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 2.37 per cent up at 474.55.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 205.7 points at 17670.45, while the BSE Sensex stood up 708.18 points at 59276.69.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 ended in the green, while 11 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Adani Power, YES Bank, BHEL and IDFC First Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Andhra Paper, Vidhi Specialty Food, Osia Hyper Retail, Jagsonpal Pharm and Adani Power hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Felix Industries, GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Swaraj Suiting Ltd., Perfect Infraenginee and Ganga Forging hit their fresh 52-week lows.
