Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.92%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Monday.
Shares of Oberoi Realty(up 3.25 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 3.1 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 2.86 per cent), DLF(up 1.83 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 1.59 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills(down 0.63 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.92 per cent up at 495.15.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 190.6 points at 18003.3, while the BSE Sensex stood up 650.98 points at 60395.63.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 ended in the green, while 15 closed in the red.
Shares of JP Power, Vodafone Idea, Alok Industries, GMR Infra and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Vikas Ecotech (PP), GTN Textiles, Vascon Engineer, 20 Microns and Euro Panel Products Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while PayTM, Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., Asian Hotels(W), Lumax Ind and Mas Fin Services hit their fresh 52-week lows.
