Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.88%
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.88 per cent up at 1150.3.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Tuesday.
Shares of Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 6.83 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 3.02 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 2.98 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 2.26 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.96 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Sobha Ltd.(down 0.99 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.88 per cent up at 1150.3.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 92.31 points at 23557.9, while the BSE Sensex stood up 308.37 points at 77301.14.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 ended in the green, while 15 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, HFCL, GMR Infra, YES Bank and RattanIndia Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Poddar Pigments, Paras Defence, JNK India, Windsor Machine and Nandan Denim hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while CMI Ltd, SEL Manufacturing Co, IndInfravit Trust, Ahimsa Ind and GIR Natureview hit their fresh 52-week lows.
