Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.85% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:37AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market.

Raymond Ltd.(up 4.99 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 2.39 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 2.33 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 2.26 per cent) and Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 1.85 per cent at 929.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 2.46 points at 25022.25, while the BSE Sensex was down 37.55 points at 82293.04.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, IRFC, Reliance Power and BEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Peria Karamalai Tea, Stampede Cap(DVR), Kanpur Plastip, Shankara Bldg Prod and Divis Labs hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Protean eGov Techno, Gangotri Text, Compuage Infocom, SKIL Infrastructure and Techindia Nirman hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
