Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.61% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:44AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 4.74 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 4.24 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 2.33 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(up 1.35 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Raymond Ltd.(down 1.15 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 1.61 per cent at 918.35 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 164.8 points at 23414.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 458.12 points at 77217.93.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 41 were trading in the green, while 9 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, Ola Electric Mobilit, Kalyan Jewellers Ind and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Navin Fluorine, Jindal Drilling, Asian Hotels, Blue Jet Healthcare and MPS Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while De Nora India, Raymond Lifestyle L, Whirlpool India, MITCON Const & Engg.(PP)and Noida Toll Bridge Co hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
