Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.52%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Monday.
Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd.(up 9.31 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 5.37 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 3.7 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 2.61 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.07 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 2.55 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 2.47 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.52 per cent up at 570.05.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 0.3 points at 19674.55, while the BSE Sensex stood up 14.54 points at 66023.69.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 ended in the green, while 26 closed in the red.
Shares of JP Power, Vodafone Idea, PNB, YES Bank and IRB Infra Dev. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Sonu Infratech, Parsvnath Dev., Vaswani Ind, KM Sugar Mills and AdityaBirlaMoney hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Delta Corp, EMS L, Pramara Promotions, Jiwanram Sheoduttrai and Yudiz Solutions hit their fresh 52-week lows.
