Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.47% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:16AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 6.41 per cent), Sunteck Realty(up 3.13 per cent), DLF(up 2.67 per cent), SOBHA(up 2.41 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 1.84 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 2.59 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.62 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 1.47 per cent at 411.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 98.1 points at 18113.95, while the BSE Sensex was up 337.7 points at 61612.79.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Brightcom Group, Zomato Ltd., YES Bank and Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Nucleus Soft, APL Apollo Tube, Soma Textiles, Bodhi Tree Multimed and Global Health Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Suumaya Lifestyle, Zee Learn, KHFM Hospitality, Ansal Prop and Omkar Speciality hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
