Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.21%
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.21 per cent up at 425.1.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Monday.
Shares of Prestige Estates Projects(up 3.17 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 3.12 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 2.91 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 2.79 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 1.1 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, DLF(down 0.13 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.21 per cent up at 425.1.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 229.3 points at 16278.5, while the BSE Sensex stood up 760.37 points at 54521.15.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 42 ended in the green, while 8 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zomato Ltd., BEL and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of FIEM Industries, Superhouse Ltd, PSP Projects, Aether Industries Ltd. and Lumax Auto Tech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vikas Proppant & Gr, Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd., Suumaya Lifestyle, Karda Const and Bombay Rayon hit their fresh 52-week lows.
