Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.2% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:14AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 5.06 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 4.21 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 2.91 per cent), SOBHA(up 1.41 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 1.4 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Godrej Properties(down 0.11 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 1.2 per cent at 426.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 123.35 points at 17747.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 412.47 points at 60258.98.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 0 were trading in the green, while 0 were in the red.

Shares of Suzlon Energy, PNB, Zomato Ltd., Bank of Baroda and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Aarti Surfactants(PP), Aki India, Srivasavi Adhesive Tapes Ltd., Kamdhenu Ventures Ltd. and MCON Rasayan India hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Latteys Industries, Nirman Agri Genetics and Seya Industries hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
