Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.18% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:11AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

SOBHA(up 2.8 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 2.57 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 2.33 per cent), DLF(up 1.56 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 1.54 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Brigade Enterprises(down 0.73 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 1.18 per cent at 489.7 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 18.45 points at 18506.2, while the BSE Sensex was up 36.26 points at 62464.8.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 35 were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red.

Shares of Suzlon Energy, Zomato, YES Bank, Bank of Maharashtra and Coal India Ltd were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Hardwyn India, Majesco L(PP), KDDL Ltd, Lumax Auto Tech and RPP Infra Proj hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while DU Digital Global, Power & Instrument, De Neers Tools, Sintex Plastics Tech and Future Enterprises (DVR)hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
