Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.17% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:52AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.

Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 3.34 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 2.08 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.79 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.63 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Raymond Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 1.17 per cent at 1000.45 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 51.4 points at 25160.65, while the BSE Sensex was down 181.27 points at 82453.21.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Alok Industries, JP Power, Ola Electric Mobilit and LE Travenues Techno were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of LE Travenues Techno, Gujarat Apollo, Lumax Ind, Parag Milk Foods and Soma Textiles hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Setubandhan Infra, Raj Television, Golden Tobacco, Eurotex Ind and National Highways InvIT hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
