Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.14% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:34AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.
Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 2.78 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.06 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 1.59 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.33 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Sunteck Realty Ltd.(down 2.29 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.63 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 1.14 per cent at 1007.45 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 52.3 points at 22540.95, while the BSE Sensex was up 169.13 points at 74054.73.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power, YES Bank, NHPC and GMR Infra were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Bharat Rasayan, J Kumar Infra, E2E Networks, Creative Eye and A2Z Infra Engg hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while N K Industries, Revathi Equipment, SEL Manufacturing Co, Awfis Space Solution and Radaan Media hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
