Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.14% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:05AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 4.47 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.99 per cent), DLF(up 1.75 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.61 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 1.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 1.21 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 1.14 per cent at 539.05 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 51.3 points at 19317.1, while the BSE Sensex was up 150.27 points at 65036.78.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.

Shares of JP Power, Suzlon Energy, Vodafone Idea, Zomato and Ibull Housing Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Lords Chloro, A G Universal, Ravinder Heights, Jullundur Motor and Mohini Health & Hygi hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Kshitij Polyline, Cerebra Integrat, Setubandhan Infra, FutureLifestyleFash and Penta Gold hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
