Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.09% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:50AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Godrej Properties(up 2.31 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 2.16 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.22 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.12 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 0.75 per cent) were among the top gainers.

SOBHA(down 1.58 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 1.09 per cent at 539.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 36.65 points at 19450.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 114.78 points at 65673.67.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato, Brightcom Group, Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Senco Gold, Satin Creditcare, Precision Camshaft, JBM Auto and Manaksia Aluminium hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Lexus Granito(India), Synoptics Technologi, Bohra Industries, Aartech Solonics and Goldstar Power hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
