Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 1.0% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:10AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Godrej Properties(up 1.56 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 1.46 per cent), DLF(up 1.2 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.15 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.9 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 0.51 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 1.0 per cent at 453.6 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 77.85 points at 17322.9, while the BSE Sensex was up 269.28 points at 57790.34.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of JP Power, TV18 Broadcast, Adani Power, YES Bank and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Indo Amines, Beta Drugs, Varroc Engg., Veranda Learning Solutions Ltd. and Agro Phos India hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Indiabulls Intgrtd, Camlin Fine Sc, Future Consumer, Zee Learn and Future Market hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
