Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.92% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:04AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.

Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 4.59 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.41 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 2.14 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 1.03 per cent) and Swan Energy Ltd.(down 0.11 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.92 per cent at 844.8 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 35.36 points at 21557.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 76.73 points at 71216.63.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

Shares of JP Power, Vodafone Idea, IFCI, NHPC and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Jyoti CNC Automation, Mahamaya Steel, Vakrangee, Policy Bazaar and Crest Ventures hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Nagreeka Export, Godha Cabcon & Insul, Alps Industries, VIP Ind. and GI Engineering hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
