Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.9% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:05AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 3.4 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 1.32 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 1.26 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(up 1.22 per cent) and Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 1.2 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.52 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.21 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.9 per cent at 1127.75 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 36.66 points at 23552.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 108.87 points at 77446.46.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, Hind Const Co and Rashtriya Chemicals were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Mohit Inds, Shradha Infraproject, FACT, C.E. Info Systems and National Fertilizers hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while SecUR Credentials, Keerti Knowledge, Divgi Torqtransfer, Lakshmi Precis and GIR Natureview hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
