Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.84% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:05AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 5.89 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.77 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.43 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.34 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.78 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 0.36 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.84 per cent at 539.95 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 19.65 points at 19413.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 52.09 points at 65268.18.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Trident Ltd, Zomato, Reliance Power and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Yuken India, Hindprakash Industri, NBI Industrial, Mohini Health & Hygi and Dredging Corp hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Melstar Info, ABM International L, Jio Financial Servic, Allcargo Terminals and Lloyds Metals hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
