Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.73% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:29AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Phoenix Mills(up 2.61 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 2.22 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.97 per cent), DLF(up 0.71 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.55 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Brigade Enterprises(down 2.09 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.05 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.73 per cent at 493.2 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 86.25 points at 17711.95, while the BSE Sensex was up 303.01 points at 59486.23.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of JP Power, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank, Vodafone Idea and Reliance Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Indo Rama Synth, Mirza Intnl, ARSS Infra, Shree Rama Multi and Arihant Capital hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., A and M Jumbo Bags L, Shri Ram Switchgears, HEC Infra Projects and Vishwaraj Sugar hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
