Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.71% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:55AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Phoenix Mills(up 2.6 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.45 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.17 per cent), DLF(up 1.14 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 0.82 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 2.08 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 1.15 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.71 per cent at 418.75 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 130.85 points at 16948.95, while the BSE Sensex was up 500.38 points at 56910.34.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, PNB, Power Grid and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Insecticide Ind, Apollo Sindoori, Airo Lam, M K Proteins and Maks Energy Solutions India Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sabar Flex India Ltd., Kandarp Digi Smart BPO Ltd., Premier Ltd, Annapurna Swadisht Ltd. and JFL Life Sciences Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
