Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.68% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:01AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.3 per cent), DLF(up 1.2 per cent), SOBHA(up 1.17 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.09 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.98 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 1.16 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.68 per cent at 428.75 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 222.05 points at 18081.5, while the BSE Sensex was up 766.7 points at 60667.07.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 47 were trading in the green, while 3 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, IDBI Bank and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Lambodhara Text, Prozone Intu Proper, 3P Land Holdings, Rama Steel Tubes and Pearl Polymers hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sumeet Ind, Jyoti Structure, RBM Infracon Ltd., CMM Infraprojects Ltd. and Paras Petrofils hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
