Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.63% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:45AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.85 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.51 per cent), DLF(up 1.41 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.98 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.89 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 1.4 per cent) and Sunteck Realty(down 0.14 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.63 per cent at 434.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 78.0 points at 18183.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 262.66 points at 61103.4.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, Tata Steel, IOB and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Kalyani Invst, Tainwala Chem, Avro India, Usha Martin and Mold Tek Tech hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Arham Technologies Ltd., Moxsh Overseas Educon Ltd., Parenteral Drug, Rel Capital and Godha Cabcon & Insul hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
