Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.6% in a weak market

India 10-year bond yield declined 0.40 per cent to 5.98 after trading in 5.98 -6.04 range.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:16AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.24 per cent), DLF(up 1.21 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 1.16 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.02 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.39 per cent) were among the top gainers.

SOBHA(down 1.63 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.4 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 0.27 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.6 per cent at 475.3 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 19.75 points at 18379.1, while the BSE Sensex was down 98.43 points at 62247.28.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Ujjivan SFB, Manappuram Finance and Indian Railway Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Vesuvius India, DJ Mediaprint & Logi, Repro India, Themis Medicare and Inox Wind Energy hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while PVR, A G Universal, SEL Manufact, SITI Networks and Sumitomo Chemical hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
