Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.59% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:01AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market.

Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.98 per cent), Anant Raj Ltd.(up 1.73 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 1.39 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 1.28 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 0.7 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Raymond Ltd.(down 1.38 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.07 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.59 per cent at 968.55 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 73.4 points at 25076.45, while the BSE Sensex was down 272.17 points at 82228.3.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 26 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, JP Power, RattanIndia Power, Ola Electric Mobilit and Vishal Mega Mart were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Soma Textiles, Control Print, Anand Rathi Wealth, Piramal Ent. and Ather Energy hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while SKIL Infrastructure, Marshall Machines, Dreamfolks Services, Raymond Realty and Protean eGov Techno hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
