Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.53% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:55AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 3.7 per cent), SOBHA(up 2.0 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(up 1.9 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.87 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.56 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.53 per cent at 430.25 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 23.95 points at 17767.35, while the BSE Sensex was up 64.48 points at 60120.58.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 30 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam, Zomato Ltd., Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd., YES Bank and UCO Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Eimco Elecon, Quality Foils(India, B L Kashyap, Rail Vikas Nigam and Saksoft Ltd hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Crompton Greaves, Ipca Labs, BEML Land Assets, Brightcom Group and Vinny Overseas hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
