Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.5% in a weak market

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.5 per cent up at 559.5.

India 10-year bond yield rose 0.37 per cent to 6 after trading in 5.99-6.01 range.
NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 09:59AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 3.65 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.96 per cent), SOBHA(up 1.77 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.79 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.7 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 0.91 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 0.37 per cent) and DLF(down 0.1 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.5 per cent at 559.5 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 99.4 points at 19634.15, while the BSE Sensex was down 326.14 points at 66133.17.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 9 were trading in the green, while 41 were in the red.

Shares of Reliance Power, Indian Railway Fin, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank and Ibull Housing Fin were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of GE Power India, Dynamic Cables, KEC Int., DB Corp. and Ashoka Buildcon hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while SMVD Poly Pack, BKM Industries, Richa Info Systems L, Advitiya Trade India and Sintex Plastics Tech hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
