Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.49%
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.49 per cent up at 1069.0.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Thursday.
Shares of Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 2.5 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 1.18 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.0 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(down 2.48 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.49 per cent up at 1069.0.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 38.25 points at 25415.8, while the BSE Sensex stood up 236.57 points at 83184.8.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 ended in the green, while 23 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Bajaj Housing Fin, Reliance Power, YES Bank and Indus Towers were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Neogen Chemicals, AGI Infra Ltd., Sintercom India, Newgen Software and Indostar Cap. Fin. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vodafone Idea, P N Gadgil Jewellers, Kross L, Tolins Tyres and Dhanvarsha Finvest hit their fresh 52-week lows.
