Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.49% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:41AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 2.42 per cent), Macrotech Developers Ltd.(up 0.79 per cent), DLF Ltd.(up 0.45 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 0.27 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 0.18 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Sobha Ltd.(down 1.02 per cent), Anant Raj Ltd.(down 0.33 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.15 per cent) and Godrej Properties Ltd.(down 0.13 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.49 per cent at 1031.35 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 39.8 points at 25144.05, while the BSE Sensex was up 132.33 points at 82524.05.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.

Shares of RattanIndia Power, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, JP Power and RattanIndia Infra were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of United Polyfab Gujar, Hybrid Financial Services, Kavita Fabrics, Creative Eye and Scoda Tubes hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Picturepost Studios, Shree Ram Proteins, Excel Realty N Infra, BSL Ltd and Zenith Exports hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
