Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.46%
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.46 per cent up at 449.6.

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a positive note on Monday.
Shares of Macrotech Developers(up 2.54 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.67 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 1.67 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.82 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.66 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Phoenix Mills(down 2.06 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.6 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.46 per cent up at 449.6.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 0.55 points at 18497.15, while the BSE Sensex stood down 51.1 points at 62130.57.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 ended in the green, while 22 closed in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Suzlon Energy, JP Power, Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd. and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of FACT, Salasar Techno Engg, Shriram EPC, Dhanlaxmi Bank and Va Tech Wabag hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Cerebra Integrat, Uniparts India Ltd., Baheti Recycling Industries Ltd., DJ Mediaprint & Logi and Pritika Engineering Components Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows.
