Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.44% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:45AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Macrotech Developers(up 1.44 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 1.19 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 1.01 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.94 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 0.54 per cent) were among the top gainers.

DLF(down 0.33 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.04 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.44 per cent at 421.85 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 134.1 points at 16183.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 443.91 points at 54204.69.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 were trading in the green, while 11 were in the red.

Shares of BEL, Vodafone Idea, Zomato Ltd., YES Bank and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Lumax Auto Tech, Aether Industries Ltd., Apar Industries, International Constructions Ltd. and Orient Bell hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while JIK Industries, Vikas Proppant & Gr, Suumaya Lifestyle, Karda Const and Bombay Rayon hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
