Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.44% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:14AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Phoenix Mills(up 1.51 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 1.35 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 1.0 per cent), SOBHA(up 0.86 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.55 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 0.73 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.61 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.26 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.44 per cent at 519.55 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 119.95 points at 19092.05, while the BSE Sensex was up 447.9 points at 64363.32.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

Shares of Easy Trip Planners, Suzlon Energy, Adani Transmission, Vodafone Idea and Reliance Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Wealth First Port, 63 Moons Tech, HDFC AMC, Genus Pwr Infra and Dynamic Cables hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Power & Instrument, Cell Point(India), Latteys Industries, Urban Enviro Waste and Shree Ram Proteins hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
