Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.42% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:29AM(IST)on Tuesday in a weak market.

Phoenix Mills(up 3.2 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.54 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.4 per cent), DLF(up 0.07 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.01 per cent) were among the top gainers.

SOBHA(down 3.11 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.23 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.21 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.07 per cent) and Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 0.02 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.42 per cent at 544.6 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 3.65 points at 19600.95, while the BSE Sensex was down 7.84 points at 65945.64.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.

Shares of Indian Railway Fin, Vodafone Idea, Zomato, Reliance Power and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Sabar Flex India, Banco Products, RateGain Travel Tech, D.K. Enterprises Glo and Krishca Strapping So hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while BKM Industries, Synoptics Technologi, Richa Info Systems L, Advitiya Trade India and Viji Finance hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
