Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.39% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:00AM(IST)on Tuesday in an upbeat market.

Brigade Enterprises(up 1.08 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.98 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 0.98 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.95 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.11 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.57 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(down 0.03 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.39 per cent at 394.15 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 166.0 points at 16001.35, while the BSE Sensex was up 567.52 points at 53802.29.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 44 were trading in the green, while 6 were in the red.

Shares of ONGC, REC, Zomato Ltd., Vodafone Idea and Suzlon Energy were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of AAA Technologies, Orient Bell, Silver Touch Tech, FIEM Industries and Imagicaaworld Entert hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Andhra Cements, Viceroy Hotels, Vipul Ltd, Parsvnath Dev. and Anjani Portland hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
