Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.33% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 09:59AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.
Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(up 3.57 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd.(up 2.6 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 1.61 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(up 1.08 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(up 1.04 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Macrotech Developers Ltd.(down 2.84 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 1.09 per cent) and Sobha Ltd.(down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.33 per cent at 586.3 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 50.6 points at 19332.35, while the BSE Sensex was up 160.01 points at 64731.89.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 38 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, JP Power, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy and Zomato were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Welspun Invst, Macpower CNC Machine, Peninsula Land, Sical Logistics and Zodiac Energy hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Krishana Phoschem, Updater Service, Indo Thai Sec, Winsome Yarns and Eurotex Ind hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
