Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.24% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:39AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.

Macrotech Developers(up 1.85 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.35 per cent), DLF(up 0.14 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.12 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.38 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.3 per cent), Phoenix Mills(down 0.22 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.01 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.24 per cent at 488.2 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 16.3 points at 17821.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 48.62 points at 59904.55.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, JP Power, Suzlon Energy and GMR Infra were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Lagnam Spintex, Intnl Conveyors, Talbros Auto, Delta Manufacturing and MIC Electronics hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while HEC Infra Projects, Star Health and McDowell Hold hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
