Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.2% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:05AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 3.24 per cent), Brigade Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.2 per cent) and Oberoi Realty Ltd.(up 0.85 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 3.82 per cent), Sobha Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent), Raymond Ltd.(down 1.96 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(down 0.41 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.2 per cent at 817.95 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 71.25 points at 22623.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 247.87 points at 74580.45.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank, Zomato and Tata Steel were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Nitiraj Engineers, Steel Cast, AXISCADES Engg Tech, Reliance Naval & Engg and California Soft(PP)hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Nagarjuna Fertilizer, Gangotri Text, Varanium Cloud, Eros Media and AGS Transact Tech hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
