Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.18% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 09:59AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.
Brigade Enterprises(up 4.42 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.05 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.68 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.5 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.29 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Phoenix Mills(down 3.67 per cent), DLF(down 0.05 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(down 0.02 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.18 per cent at 463.2 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 47.3 points at 17545.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 168.25 points at 58852.24.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.
Shares of Max Healthcare, Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Adani Power and ONGC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Aarvi Encon, Gokaldas Export, KEI Industries, SEL Manufact and KPI Global Infra hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Akash Infra-Proj, GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Supreme Infra, Panacea Biotec and Mangalam Drugs hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
