Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.18% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:50AM(IST)on Monday in a weak market.

Phoenix Mills(up 1.41 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 1.33 per cent), DLF(up 0.88 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.05 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 1.41 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.96 per cent), SOBHA(down 0.96 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.7 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.68 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.18 per cent at 425.95 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 161.4 points at 17666.6, while the BSE Sensex was down 646.74 points at 59784.26.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 0 were trading in the green, while 0 were in the red.

Shares of Infosys, Reliance Power, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank and Vodafone Idea were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Hardwyn India, Touchwood Entertainm, Pressman Advertisin, Vardhman Poly and Aarti Pharmalabs Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Infosys, SVP Global, Lorenzini Apparels, Omkar Speciality and Rajvir Ind hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
