Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.17% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:55AM(IST)on Thursday in an upbeat market.

Macrotech Developers(up 0.89 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.82 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.56 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.39 per cent) and DLF(up 0.07 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.04 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 1.01 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 0.23 per cent) were the top losers on the index.


The Nifty Realty index was up 0.17 per cent at 500.45 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 64.05 points at 17285.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 234.5 points at 58022.53.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Ibull Housing Fin, YES Bank, Suzlon Energy and Trident Ltd were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Borosil L, Websol Energy, Nitco, Medicamen Bio and Agro Phos India hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vikas Multicorp(PP), SVP Global, Huhtamaki PPL and Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd. hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
